HYDERABAD, March 24: MOTOROLA, the global wireless telecommunications company, on Friday entered into an agreement with the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) to set up the Motorola School of Communication Technology as part of IIIT, Hyderabad.
The agreement was signed here during the US President, Mr. Bill Clinton's visit to the Hi-Tec City by Dr. Narendra Ahuja, visiting Professor and Director of IIIT, Mr. Amit Sharma, Chairman, Motorola India Ltd, and Mr. A. William Wiggenhorn, President of Motorola University, US.
It was signed in the presence of the US Commerce Secretary, Mr. William M. Daley.
