Vanderbilt license won't be renewed

Fisher Camuto Group has decided not to renew its Gloria Vanderbilt license with Murjani. New York, despite what industry sources last week described as its success in rejuvenating the line.

In a prepared statement, Fisher Camuto president Wayne Weaver said the company would concentrate its resources and efforts in existing brands, as a result of the decision reached on Oct. 30.

All orders placed for the spring 1988 collection are scheduled for delivery with the Gloria Vanderbilt label.

In addition, Fisher Camuto is restructuring the Enzo Angiolini division and has named Bruce Victor as president. Victor …
