Ian Wright has resigned the presidency of Fisher Camuto's Enzo Angiolini/ Espressioni division to join U.S. Shoe Corp. as president of the Pappagallo division.
Irony tinges the executive change that sends the second Espressioni president to U.S. Shoe, the very company Fisher Camuto tapped for the division's first president, Gil Fields.
Fields surprised some U.S. Shoe executives when he resigned the presidency of U.S. Shoe's Marx & Newman to lead the Stamford, Conn.-based importer's then-new Italian division in August 1984; Fields left Fisher Camuto to become president of Caressa in 1986.
