KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- Share prices on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) turned mixed at midday in tight-range trading, a dealer said.
He also said constant buying on specific stocks helped the market to gain strong support at the 940-point level.
"It was tight-range trading in the morning session. There was a stream of profit taking which was partly absorbed by interest in specific stocks," he said, adding that this was expected to continue in the afternoon with the CI hovering between 920 and 950 points. finished 2.62 points lower to 945.47 after having rose 1.20 points to 949.29 at the opening.
