A little marketing muscle is helping one Colorado nonprofit mobilize.
The Denver-based Greenbucks Foundation, an environmental volunteer program, has tapped into the metro-area's corporate marketing departments to increase its volunteer base and offer these Denver businesses community service opportunities and a unique team building experience. In the past few weeks alone, more than 1,200 volunteer hours have been logged in Colorado as a result of Greenbucks' partnerships with various corporate marketing departments.
