CALCUTTA, March 9. - Eighth-seed Sourav Panja of Bengal shocked second-seed Nitin Kirtane in their men's singles quarter-final encounter on the fourth day of the Indian Oil-Servo Senior National Grasscourt Tennis Champion-ships jointly organised by Paes en Sport and the CC&FC on the club lawns today.

Kirtane broke Panja in the second and sixth games of the the first set to wrap up the set at 6-1.

The second set saw Panja breaking Kirtane in the second and eighth games to clinch the set at 6-2.

The third set witnessed a see-saw battle. By the sixth game, the scoreline read 3-3. The seventh game saw Panja being broken again for Kirtane to lead 4-3. In …
