CALCUTTA, March 7. - Although West Bengal had much to offer, it was unfortunate that
the state was yet to be a favourite destination
of foreign investments, Mr P F C Koch, Dutch Ambassador to India, said here today. However, he added that he was here for a brief period and could not form a firm opinion in this matter.
Addressing a meeting organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce, he said that there was a negative impression abroad, including his own country, about the state's industrial atmosphere under a Communist government, particularly on the labour front.
