NEW DELHI, March 8. - Reimposing the ban on Gujarat government employees joining RSS activities may end the impasse Parliament but it appeared to deal a severe blow to BJP hawks.

Though RSS is reportedly "unconcerned" over the issue, it lashed out at the Opposition, particularly the Congress.

The Gujarat government and BJP leaders said the ban was reimposed after "requests from the BJP's central leadership" That the BJP was "upset" over the decision, however, became evident, when party spokesman, Mr M Venkaiah Naidu, said in Ahmedabad that the "BJP which supported the Gujarat government's decision, has also to keep national interest in mind."
