Nanogen Inc. (10398 Pacific Center Ct., San Diego, CA 92121; Tel: 858/410-4600, Fax: 858/410-4848) and Hitachi Ltd. (Tokyo, Japan), acting through its Instrument Group, executed an agreement on the full-scale commercial manufacturing and distribution of Nanogen's proprietary NanoChip instrument system in specified research markets.
