Erap tours Mindanao, vows to fast-track dev't.
DAVAO CITY - President Joseph Estrada yesterday pledged to fast-track the implementation of major infrastructure projects in General Santos City that are crucial to making the city a "hub" of the South Cotabato-Sultan Kudarat-Sarangani-General Santos (Socsksargen) growth area.
Speaking during General Santos's 61st Foundation anniversary rites at the City Plaza yesterday afternoon, Mr. Estrada promised to complete as soon as possible the General Santos City Integrated Transport Terminal to be set up inside the General Santos Special Economic Zone.
