Istumbled upon an ingenious computer system at, of all places, a company that sells teddy bears.

Actually, my wife and I were dragged to the Build-A-Bear Workshop at a local mall by our children, ages 6 and 9.

Friends told them they could design a custom teddy bear at the store and follow it through production.

It's a clever idea. Children choose from several dozen "unstuffed" animals, large and small.
