CHENNAI: Binny Ltd has declared a net profit of Rs. 5.37 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 1999 as against the net loss of Rs. 5.49 crores for the corresponding period in the previous year.

The company has a net sales of Rs. 6.96 crores (Rs. 7.65 crores) while other income was Rs. 23.20 crores, which included the insurance claim on machinery of Rs. 14.44 crores and on stocks of Rs. 8.43 crores (Rs. 68 lakhs).
