KYOTO -- The Dalai Lama, supreme leader of Tibetan Buddhism, will give a lecture on environmental issues in April in Kyoto at the invitation of Kyoto Seika University. The lecture will commemorate the opening of the university's Department of Environmental and Social Studies.
The lecture will be titled "Seeking Coexistence with Nature" and will be delivered at the university gym on April 16 at 2:30 p.m. On April 17 at 2 p.m., the Dalai Lama will conduct a symposium titled "Environment and Humans: Seeking A New Lifestyle" as part of the Seika Chikyu Forum at the Kyoto International Conference Hall.
