The Brunei Muara District Football Association has selected a group of 28 players from their ongoing league in a bid to produce a supply line of talent into the senior national squad.

Headed by the Secretary General of the BMDFA, Awg Saidin Hj Alim, most of the players selected are under 23 years of age and have been called up to preliminary trials based on their outstanding performances for the respective teams up to now.

The trials will be conducted by the national team officials and the BMDFA are hopeful that there will be one or two players there that can make the mark and begin training as potential national team players in the future.
