LPGA to shine spotlight on new south Phoenix golf development

John Graham and Rick West are expecting 120,000 or more guests for one week this spring at their new Legacy Golf Resort in south Phoenix.

Their resort is hosting the March 12-19 Standard Register PING Ladies Professional Golf Association tournament.

That's why Graham, West and Legacy golf director Steve Mallory have a major to-do list.

"We're not taking anything for granted," Mallory said. "There is a lot of small detail work. And some of the smallest things could be the biggest problems."
