Tommy Hilfiger has handed its [pounds]10m media planning and buying account to Optimedia, following a six-week review.
The move is the first time the company has pooled its media account into one agency and comes as it prepares for a major expansion drive across Europe.
The deal includes the launch of women's wear, accessories, footwear and soft furnishings to add to the company's portfolio of leading edge streetwear (Marketing, October 14).
The initial brief includes the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium, although other markets will be added as Tommy Hilfiger expands.
