Southern Energy, Napocor in tie-up.

Independent power producer (IPP) Southern Energy Philippines and state-run National Power Corp. (Napocor) have tied up to supply the 40-megawatt (MW) power supply requirement of Bataan Polyethylene Corp. (BPC) in Mariveles, Bataan.

Under the setup, Southern Energy will provide 50% of the power requirement of BPC and the remaining 50% will be provided by Napocor for 20 years.
