GretagMacbeth, one of the leading suppliers of color-measuring instruments, has bolstered its position by acquiring two Italian manufacturers of color-measuring instruments: Talia Tecnoequipe, serving the textile business, and Viptronic, from the graphic arts.
Talia Tecnoequipe S.r.l., of Poggio a Caiano, Italy, supplies colorimetric equipment for use in textile and leather manufacturing. It will complement software GretagMacbeth already produces for its core applications of paints, plastics, inks and textiles.
