With the year drawing to a close, it is time for our first, and possibly only, annual nominations to the Children's Fashion Hall of Shame.
The Hall of Shame came into being, in many parental minds, in recent years when children's styles began mimicking teen-age styles in earnest. Dull colors, slutwear for toddlers, designer duds that turned preschoolers into miniature yuppies _ it was enough to make a modern mom yearn for smocked plaid dresses.
