THE swearing-in of Penang State Assembly members yesterday means that those who endured sleepless nights can now let their hair down and relax.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon and his team can now get their show on the road after two weeks of uncertainty in the post-election period, following various hiccups within the State Barisan Nasional.

Early this week, the power tussle between Gerakan and the MCA was most pronounced when only three out of nine elected MCA Assemblymen turned up at Seri Mutiara - the Yang di-Pertua Negeri's official residence - for the swearing-in of the State Executive Council members.
