Getta Clue getting kicks with new shoe venture.

The owners of Getta Clue, a hip clothes store in Downtown Plaza, hope to get a toehold in the shoe business.

Scott Gilbert and Justin Bilbao have opened a shoe store called City Kicks.

The two started their Getta Clue Store LLC to sell clothes seven years ago when barely into their 20s. Getta Clue still sells shoes, but customers can find a much larger selection nearby at the 1,441-square-foot City Kicks store in Westfield Shoppingtown Downtown Plaza.

Last year, Gilbert and Bilbao moved Getta Clue into Downtown Plaza from the K Street Mall. They opened their second Getta Clue in July at the Solano Mall in Fairfield.
