A vintage and rare bookstore in Lower Downtown is fighting its building owner and the city to keep a wooden A-frame sign on the sidewalk in front of its location in the lobby of Barclay Towers, 1625 Larimer St.

Bohemian Bookworm, which opened in March, is afraid it won't get any business during the holidays without some sort of advertising outside the building, but the building's owners refused to allow the store "legal" signage.

The "illegal" A-frame sign was provided for in the store's lease with Barclay Towers, but a tenant in the building complained about it, so the city's Neighborhood Inspection wants to forcibly remove it.
