Six months after leaving the presidency of Bank One Milwaukee with a goal of building his own business, Kent Velde has incorporated three new companies that will handle venture capital and investment banking.

Velde, who was a banking executive for 20 years, will run Velde Capital Advisors L.L.C., Velde Capco L.L.C. and Wisconsin Growth Fund L.L.C. From Milwaukee.

Velde Capco and the Wisconsin Growth Fund were set up to handle more than $17 million in venture capital money from the state that Velde Will invest in Wisconsin companies.

He was chosen to invest the money by Stonehenge Partners of Columbus, Ohio. Stonehenge was one of three venture capital …
