Aided by some creative publications, Eileen Scott and her staff take no prisoners when it comes to getting the word out about Pittsburgh-based General Nutrition Cos. Inc.'s employee benefit program.
"We use every avenue available to us," said Scott, who is the vice president of human resources at the health products company.
Those avenues include a special human resources Web site, the company's e-mail system, pay stubs with a message, home mailings and postings on office bulletin boards.
Scott needs every one of them. With about 5,000 employees eligible for benefits in 2,500 locations nationwide, the message has to travel far and wide.
