Here is product roundup from trade show.
DALLAS, TX -- While the temperature outside climbed to 80 [degree] F, attendees of the recent North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM) trade show here focused their attention on machines for making ice.
ICE MACHINES
Mile High Equipment Co. (Denver, CO) announced plans to market a new line of commercial ice makers, known as the ICE Series. These machines feature stainless steel construction, R-404A refrigerant, improved capacities and efficiencies, easier installation and service, and universal compatibility with industry bins and dispensers, according to the company.
Scotsman's (Vernon Hills, IL) booth featured its CME1056 unit, which produces up to 1,010 lb of ice in 24 hr. The unit can be stacked for double capacity and is supposed to lower the gallons of water usage per 100 lb of ice.
Highlighted at the Vogt Tube-Ice (Louisville, KY) booth were the models HES-20, HES-30, and HES-40 ice machines. The units feature increased efficiency, a scroll compressor, a self-diagnostic indicator light, electronic temperature controls, and an integral drip pan.
Hoshizaki America (Peachtree City, GA) introduced its TempGuard three-door reach-in refrigerator.
