INTRIA Bhd, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Intria Bina Sdn Bhd, anticipates a further contract worth RM50 million worth to be secured before the end of the year.
This is expected to complement the group's proposed construction of a second crossing for Penang bridge.
"We have conducted a feasibility study and its findings revealed that an alternative to the existing bridge would become necessary as the bridge is expected to reach maximum capacity very soon," says chairman Datuk Dr Mohamed Ishak Mohamed Ariff.
