Dear Advice Diva,

Is being Jewish more important than being happy?

I am in love with a gentile, and we are considering marriage, but I am not sure if I could marry someone from a different religious background. She doesn't want to covert and I would not either. I am torn between marrying for love and marrying within my religion. If I can't do both, then which one has priority? Would you give up your religious affiliation for (true) love?
