Once again, it's time to stand up and be counted. One more moment of truth has arrived for Houston voters, who must make the final choice this week on whether to add another sports stadium to the city skyline.

City Council members may be subject to term limitations, but the array of athletic arena referendums that keep popping up at election time. appear to be endless.

First it was baseball and football, now basketball has jumped on the ballot. At the rate these projects keep proliferating, Houston may soon have more stadiums than schools.
