MELBOURNE, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- Mitsubishi, which had been associated with Proton right from the start, makes the best new cars in Australia, according to the country's biggest motoring organisations.
It claimed three wins -- including the award for the best family car -- when the Royal Automobile Club, Victoria (RACV) and the National Roads and Motorists Association (NRMA) Best Car Awards for 1999 were announced yesterday.
The winners were Mitsubish's family car Magna 3.5, small car Mirage and the people mover, the seven-seat Nimbus.
Other winners include Subaru, which won the best mid-size car award for its Liberty RX …
