Stephan Manolakas and Angelo Tsakopoulos will be converting their planned Carson Creek development in El Dorado Hills into an age-restricted community as the result of the settlement of a slow-growth lawsuit.

The partners have also agreed to reduce the number of homes in both Carson Creek and their nearby Promontory project, also involved in a lawsuit. Overall, the partners agreed to cut the two projects by 1,019 lots.

"In an ideal world, I would have wanted the project to be intact," Manolakas said. "But I'm satisfied with the outcome. I think they are too."
