Another disappointing quarter for logistics software manufacturer Manugistics

Supply-chain planning software company Manugistics Group recently announced its secondquarter financial results and the news was less than uplifting. The company posted yet another loss for the period ended Aug. 31. The Rockville, Md.-based company posted a net loss for the quarter of approximately $3.4 million, or 13 cents per basic and diluted share.

In the same quarter last year the company posted a net loss of $6 million, or 23 cents a share. Total revenue for the three months ended Aug. 31 was $33.8 million, with license fees accounting for $10.8 million. For the same period …
