Royal Enfield Motors, part of the Rs. 970-crore Eicher group of companies, will introduce a new 624 cc motorbike in the domestic market.
Royal Enfield Motors, pioneers in four-stroke power motorbikes, will roll out this new bike from its Chennai plant by the end of year 2000. "The new 624 cc bike will be priced between Rs. 90,000 and Rs. 1 lakh. The engine for this new bike will come from the Switzerland-based Fritz Egly," Mr. P. K. Purang, Managing Director, Royal Enfield Motors told Business Line.
