Sep. 16 -- When you're from the Midwest, sometimes you just get a hankering for the simple things.

Friday-night fish fries. Pot roast and meatloaf. A good, cheap Milwaukee beer. A bar with nothing fancier than a jukebox and a TV.

Former Midwesterners Tony and Anna Leahy miss all of that, so they're bringing it home to downtown Colorado Springs in the form of a new bar, Tony's, at 311 N. Tejon St.
