DHL worldwide Express, the world's leading international air express service, is optimistic that the Asia-Pacific air express market will experience a buoyant growth of at least 18 per cent per year over the next five years.
General manager of DHL Malaysia, Alan Cassels, said in a statement that the company's optimism is attributed to the positive economy indicators throughout the region.
"What is really driving growth in the air express industry today is the accelerating transition from traditional distribution to express logistics, as more and more companies are realising the genuine advantages of making this paradgim shift," he said.
