Public Bank voted best commercial bank (514).
PUBLIC Bank Bhd has been voted the best domestic commercial bank in the country by Finance Asia publication, another feather in the cap for the bank which has won a series of best local bank awards in recent years.
Yesterday, Finance Asia, a monthly magazine distributed to 13,000 financial decisions-makers around the world, presented its 1999 Annual Country Achievement Award for the Best Domestic Commercial Bank in Malaysia to Public Bank.
Honouring the best domestic and foreign banks in countries across the region annually, the winning commercial banks this year were distinguished by their commitment to local markets, said Finance Asia.
