Miami's From2.com has a hot pickup line: export compliance.

The company, founded by the brothers who created fragrance wholesaler Perfumania, is part software designer, part snipping and logistics carrier.

From2.com has patent-pending software it created called the Global Delivered Cost Calculator. It's linked directly into a merchant's Web site and calculates all freight, insurance, duties, taxes, customs clearance fees and other import charges associated with snipping a product overseas.

Backed by a Miami logistics and shipping parent company, Lion Holdings International, the company's goal is to go public, and create a brand synonymous with Fedex, DHL and UPS.

Pretty lofty standards for a Miami start-up? Maybe not.
