Arter & Hadden hiring, exploring mergers.(Arter & Hadden L.L.P.)
DOWNTOWN DALLAS - The Dallas office of Arter & Hadden L.L.P. is quietly snapping up attorneys from local competitors.
The Cleveland-based firm has made six hires within the last month from area firms, including Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox L.L.P., Godwin White & Gruber P.C., Jackson Walker L.L.P. and Bickel & Brewer.
The firm has also approached other Dallas firms like Strasburger & Price L.L.P. about merger opportunities, according to industry sources.
Strasburger's managing partner John Vernon confirmed the speculation.
