Dr. Rano Solidum Bofill of Man, West Virginia, is my father, the Music Man. I remembered seeing and hearing him doing all kinds of musical things through the years.

My dad has been involved with different activities: singing national anthems, organizing and donating trophies for singing contests, providing laser karaoke and DJ music entertainment, singing in choir and nursing home singalongs, and my favorite, Elvis impersonations!

My dad would tell me, "Someone has to sing the anthem to start the program!" He has been involved with organizing singing programs for which he donates trophies to the winner. He has provided the entertainment for the West Virginia State …
