KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 3 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian International Furniture Fair 2000 (MIFF 2000), scheduled for March 7-11, 2000 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), is expected to attract 5,500 international furniture buyers.

This is a record number since MIFF began holding its annual exhibition from 1995 and represents a 10 percent increase from that for MIFF '99 which attracted 4,986 international furniture buyers.

MIFF '99 also saw an increase of 16.5 percent from that of 1998 which saw the attendance of 4278 international furniture buyers, mainly from Asean countries, Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
