The Health Education Authority is to review its roster of agencies this autumn as the Government launches a 96 million [pounds sterling] programme to improve the nation's health.
The HEA is planning to expand its agency roster as it gears up for a major boost to its adspend on public health campaigns. The authority is expected to play a major role in the Government's crusade --announced in a White Paper last week--to save 300,000 lives over the next ten years by encouraging healthier living among the poor and disadvantaged.
