Ohio firm takes over Mather jet flights

The job of flying Intel Corp. executives to and from headquarters in Santa Clara has changed hands for the third time in three years.

Intel's leased jets will now be flown out of Mather Airport by Cincinnati-based Executive Jet Management.

Intel takes three round-trip shuttles a day to San Jose, using corporate jets that seat 19 people. An estimated 30,000 seats are filled per year, lifting employees up and over the madness of California traffic.

"It's very convenient," said Arie cross, Intel's Folsom spokeswoman.
