MedicaLogic leases in heart of San Francisco.(computer software company)

Hillsboro-based MedicaLogic has signed a 10-year lease in downtown San Francisco as part of a $35 million push to rule the online medical data market.

The $60 million (revenue) company has leased 40,000 square feet on three floors at Battery and Green streets in San Francisco. That will give it space for about 150 people, which the company expects to fill by the end of next year. At that point, the San Francisco operations will have half of the company's staff, and should be helping grow its revenue by 50 percent annually.

Starting that process are five key executive hires, all of whom came from Netscape Communications Corp. after its buyout by America …
