Rod Roos, proprietor of Roos Flooring in Price Hill, says it was during one of his European vacations that the dream hit him. Wouldn't it be great if he could combine his true passion in life - skiing and snowboarding - with a business venture?

While many dreamers remain just that, Roos, who's spent many ski seasons slicing across the French Alps, did something about his.

The result is LiquidSpeed, a high-performance snowboarding and ski waxing substance Roos began selling on the Internet last year at www.LiquidSpeed.com.

"I'm doing this with spare money," Roos said of LiquidSpeed, which he discovered at a premier French ski resort and began importing in early 1998 as a private labeler. "It's just always been my dream to promote this type of product."
