Analysts say name recognition is important for success

WEXFORD - Chris Peters, MetalSite co-founder, has decided to break away from MetalSite and form his own electronic marketplace consulting firm, christened eMarket Concepts.

Mr. Peters has been touring the country at the request of academic and technology consultants explaining how MetalSite auctions steel products over the Web.

And after every event, he said audience members approach him at the podium to pick his brain about how their company can duplicate the success of the 6-month-old e-commerce site.
