SHELL REFINING TO INVEST RM9 BILLION IN 5 YEARS. (568).
KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- Shell Refining Company (Federation of Malaya) Bhd (SRC) will invest RM9 billion in upstream operations over the next five years, said chairman Datuk Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor today.
He said it would use the fund to install a compressor platform at its gas fields, continue with its exploration for oil and gas offshore in Sabah and Sarawak, rebuild its plant in Bintulu, build new petrol stations and improve on its information technology system.
SRC is committed to build 20 new stations annually over the next five years.
