Apr. 30 -- ART WHOLESALER WILL SELL DIRECTLY TO PUBLIC AT NEW BROOKSIDE GALLERY: When Moddy Saad sold a piece of his father's African art, it was the start of a 15-year wholesale career. But two years ago, Saad relocated to Kansas City and soon tired of the frequent trips to museums and customers in New York and elsewhere.
Saad now hopes to settle down by selling the pieces directly to the public at a new Brookside art gallery. Ancestral Art Gallery, at 6305 Brookside Plaza, Suite 102, will have its grand opening Saturday.
