PETALING JAYA, April 23 (Bernama) -- Despite the difficult economic situation over the past two years, 1998 was a year of steady growth for Malaysian Assurance Alliance Bhd which achieved satisfactory results and experienced a better growth rate compared with the insurance industry as a whole.

Its chairman, Tunku Abdullah ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman, said at the company's 1998 agency awards tonight that "our success is a reflection of the energy, loyalty and dedication that the agency force as well as the management team and staff had given to the company".
