Prestige Care reaches higher with Pinnacle.(acquisition of Pinnacle Health Care)

Prestige Care Inc. has agreed in principal to acquire Pinnacle Health Care as part of an aggressive build-or-buy strategy to remain a dominant player in assisted living and nursing home facilities in the West.

The deal will increase revenue of the privately held operator of nursing homes and assisted living facilities by $25 million to $106 million.

Prestige already is among the top 50 assisted living competitors in the nation, either publicly or privately operated. It's the third-largest in the Pacific Northwest after publicly traded Regent Assisted Living and Assisted Living Concepts.
