Motor Speedway may move up plans for industrial park.(Texas Motor Speedway)
FORT WORTH - As Texas Motor Speedway prepares to open its $35 million Speedway Club on March 25, officials are already talking about the next project - an industrial park for auto-related businesses.
The park on the northeast corner of the 1,500-acre Speedway site could be the next possible phase for development, according to Eddie Gossage, executive vice president and general manager of Texas Motor Speedway.
The speedway's owner, Speedway Motorsports Inc. of Charlotte, N.C., originally discussed building the industrial park after the Lone Star Tower office and condominium complex and the Speedway Club were built in 2007 and 2112, respectively. The Speedway's …
