Builder Codina brings Jacksonville conglomerate to table

Another big real estate player has taken a slice of the high profile deal to build a headquarters for the National Council on Compensation Insurance.

St. Joe Corp., the state's largest landowner, will finance and own NCCI's new $45 million headquarters in Boca Raton under terms of a deal signed last week, officials with companies confirmed.

St. Joe was led to the deal by Codina Development Corp, which will build the facility. St. Joe, a Jacksonville-based real estate, forestry and agriculture conglomerate, owns a stake of Codina.
